The IA-GPS group conducts applied research and technology transfer to companies and institutions, developing software systems focused on optimisation and decision support.
What we do
We transfer knowledge through tools and systems that solve real constraint-based optimisation problems: planning, scheduling, logistics, transport, staff allocation, cutting and packing.
Study of the real problem, data, constraints, objectives and scenarios.
Design of the model and algorithms (metaheuristics, constraint solving, etc.).
Integration into systems, validation and operation in industrial environments.
